i also have kaspersky installed and when i conect to internet i can see in a corner the kaspersky icon.

with avg i dont see there nothing.

Well, i did not know what kaspersky is, and i googled for it and found that it is an antivirus software.

if that is right... then that is your problem !

you have 2 antivirus softwares running on the same machine. Both the softwares are trying to access the same resources at the same time.

Dont you think that is weird !!!!

Just imagine: USA having 2 presidents at the same time ! they will both try to rule the country in their own way (i know that presidents dont rule, its just an analogy to make you understand of the situation)

So, what is probably happening is, Kaspersky has disabled AVG.... So, avg does not show up. However, AVG could be smarter in its own way. may be avg is running in the background.

however, based on my 5 yrs of computer experience, i suggest you to get rid of any one of those softwares. Both are not required. Having both does not increase your security in any way - They make it more vulnerable !
