I love AVG Free and will continue recommending it to anyone... And no it does not suck. It actually rates better than Norton.

Norton is a RAM hog.

If you get a pay for one, then go with Nod32.

avast is free and it works very well

etrust works well and it's relatively cheap. not slow like norton or mcafee
